December 7, 2022

Gravy Analytics’ founder and CEO, Jeff White, recognized as “Executive of the Year” in the small companies category

DULLES, Va., Dec. 7, 2022 – Gravy Analytics, the leading provider of enterprise location intelligence, has been named a gold winner in the 12th annual Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged each year by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America. This award recognizes Gravy’s founder and CEO, Jeff White, as Executive of the Year in the small companies category.

White, who has more than two decades of experience leading successful companies, founded Gravy Analytics in 2011. Under White’s leadership, Gravy Analytics has continuously grown as a business and has consistently been ranked one of the fastest growing companies in the country by Inc. magazine and the Financial Times.

In addition, White believes that, beyond the actionable insights location intelligence can provide to businesses, this information can help to solve some of our society’s biggest challenges. That’s why through its Data for Social Good program, Gravy Analytics partners with organizations working to solve real-world problems and provides access to its location datasets in support of projects that help communities and improve daily lives.

“It’s an honor to receive this recognition from Best in Biz Awards,” said Jeff White, founder and CEO of Gravy Analytics. “I’d like to thank the entire Gravy team for their hard work and dedication; their efforts have been key to our success and have allowed us to reach goals that I never would have thought possible when we started the company more than a decade ago.”

The 12th annual Best in Biz Awards program saw fierce competition among more than 700 entries from public and private companies of all sizes and representing all industries and regions in the U.S. and Canada, ranging from some of the most iconic global brands to the most innovative start-ups and resilient local companies. This year’s judges highlighted the winning companies’ visionary leadership, innovative strides in the use of new technologies, and laudable employee diversity & inclusion programs and workplace best practices, as well as many winners’ continued community involvement, investments in the environment, and corporate social responsibility programs.

Since the program’s inception in 2011, winners in Best in Biz Awards have been determined based on scoring from independent judging panels assembled each year from some of the most respected national and local newspapers, TV and radio outlets, and business, consumer, technology, and trade publications in North America. Thanks to the impressive diversity of represented outlets and the unparalleled experience and expertise of the editors and reporters serving as judges, Best in Biz Awards judging panels are uniquely suited to objectively determine the best of the best from among the hundreds of competitive entries. The 2022 judging panel included, among others, writers from AdWeek, Computerworld, Forbes, The Globe & Mail, Inc., The Oregonian, and Portland Tribune.
