March Madness: Favorite Sports Bars
March 14, 2018
The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, aka March Madness, started on Tuesday, March 13 in Dayton and will end on April 2 in San Antonio. Over three weeks, 63 games are played in fourteen host cities throughout the US. But not everyone in those cities will get the chance to watch the game live.
We wondered: which local sports bars will compete head-to-head for NCAA basketball fans on game day?
Gravy Analytics’ location-based analytics platform tracks mobile consumer attendances at places and events across the United States. We looked at local sports bars from Boston to Los Angeles – and in every host city in between – to forecast which will see the most foot traffic during March Madness games, in every round.
All picks are based on average sports bar attendances from July 1, 2017 through January 31, 2018. Read on to see our predictions for the favorite sports bars in each host city on game day.
Do you think our predictions will prove correct? And, did your favorite sports bar make the cut? Let us know.
