8. Where Do Chick-fil-A Customers Go on Sundays?

7. Four Ways to Use Foot Traffic Data for Commercial Real Estate Market Research

The seventh spot in our top 10 blog posts list goes to an informative blog post written by Gravy founder and CEO Jeff White. He lists the ways that location intelligence can add value in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry. 6.  What’s in a Food Desert? Using Location Intelligence to Analyze Place Visits in Washington, D.C.

And our last blog post for part one of our top 10 blog posts list is all about food deserts. Location intelligence can be used in many powerful ways, and this food desert project was a fascinating one. By studying consumer behavior, travel distance, and more, Gravy was able to understand food deserts in the District of Columbia. Determining the availability of specific goods in an area is an important application of location intelligence. Not only did our project verify the findings of an earlier study on food deserts, but it helped us make some key conclusions about food deserts and unlock another invaluable way to use location intelligence for societal good.

To read our findings on food deserts and to access our food desert dashboard, read the full post here.

Stay tuned for part two of our top 10 blog posts of the year, and to find out which blog post is number one for 2022. Not only do these blog posts provide insights into some of the nation’s leading companies and consumer trends, but our blog posts also offer readers a peek into the reasons why our data can benefit researchers, companies, and society at large.
