Twenty-eight Loudoun-based businesses placed on this year’s Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in the U.S., according to Loudoun Economic Development. The annual rankings are based on percentage revenue growth for privately-owned applicant businesses over the previous three years.

Dulles-based Gravy Analytics (No. 93) was the fastest-growing business in the D.C. region, with 3,623% growth. It was founded by CEO Jeff White in 2011.

“It’s an honor to be included on this year’s Inc. 5000 list,” White said in a prepared statement. “We’ve seen phenomenal growth, and powering that growth is some of the country’s best talent. We have prestigious universities nearby, leading research centers and corporations that truly value innovation.”

In addition to Gravy Analytics, three other Loudoun companies ranked in the D.C. region’s top 10, and six other local businesses made the exclusive Inc. 500 list. Those were: Lateetud (No. 155); Capital Telecom Services (No. 189); Core One Solutions (No. 216); The Building People (No. 318); Pathfinder Consultants (No. 408); and Teksky (No. 455).
