Gravy Analytics Forms Advisory Board to Guide Company’s Next Phase of Growth
Location intelligence as a strategic business asset is fueling the company’s 100% YoY Growth

DULLES, VA., November 7, 2019 — On the heels of its strongest two years of growth to date, Gravy Analytics today announced a new committee of strategic advisors. Location intelligence is maturing from its traditional advertising and marketing roots into a powerful lever guiding strategic business decisions, and the new advisory board is charged with helping guide and accelerate the company’s go-to-market strategy into 2020 and beyond. Advisory board members include:

  • Randall Beard, award-winning C-suite executive, advisor and current Catalina Marketing board member with executive management experience at blue-chip companies such as Procter & Gamble, American Express, UBS and Nielsen.
  • Armando Escalante, a successful executive, technologist, data strategist, product innovator and entrepreneur with over twenty-five years of experience in data intelligence and analytics, including as CTO of TransUnion TLO and LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
  • Jim Greenwell, former CEO of Danal Inc., a company that pioneered a number of solutions in the mobile identity/authentication space, and current Executive Advisor to Thomson Reuters, Boku Identity and Authentic8.

Jeff White, CEO and Founder of Gravy Analytics, said: “Our industry is experiencing a pivotal time, shaped by three core elements: industry spotlight on trust, privacy and regulation; rising data inaccuracy, risk and fraud; and growing awareness of the potency of location insights in business decision-making. Combined, this spells opportunity for Gravy Analytics, but we need to capitalize on this smartly and strategically. That’s why we’ve assembled this group of incredibly talented, seasoned executives to lend us their advice, expertise and networks as we navigate this next phase of demand.”

On a growth trajectory

The company experienced its largest revenue growth in 2018 (790%) and is on pace for 100% revenue growth in 2019. During this time, Gravy Analytics expanded headcount by almost 40%, with key hires in sales, engineering and customer operations. The company’s customer base also grew by 300% across key industries including AdTech, Financial Services, and Consumer Products.

Recognizing this year of impressive growth, Deloitte recently named Gravy as a Technology Fast 500 award winner for 2019. The list recognizes 500 of the fastest-growing companies across technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy tech companies in North America based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth (from 2015 to 2018).

Increasing transparency and trust

Gravy Analytics also continued to enhance its suite of location data forensic products with the addition of forensic flags that better identify devices in motion (i.e. car or airplane) and at hypervelocity. In an industry plagued by fraudulent signals, these new features, which continue to add powerful new filtering and classification capabilities to Gravy’s AdmitOne™ processing engine, further Gravy’s mission to provide data buyers with the most accurate, high-quality, and transparent location-derived data sets for their individual needs (e.g. foot traffic measurement or fraud detection-related).
