Without restrictions and fear of travelers, normality is a reality

August 31, 2022

Month after month we have witnessed a number of restrictions that different countries were announcing, making it very complex and even impossible for the tourism industry to operate. With the progress of vaccination, the drop in cases and less aggressive variants, the authorities were taking note that they should act proactively to recover an industry that in many markets is essential for its GDP.

Yonder Travel Insurance has shared findings from a study conducted in the United States that brings hope to the industry and reveals important changes in a global trend-setting market.
According to the report, travel feels more normal as the levels of COVID-19 restrictions are easing on several fronts.

According to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the average volume of travelers today is 2.0 to 2.5 million.

78% of millennials and 76% of Generation X have said they feel very comfortable traveling, while other groups such as baby boomers (73%) and generation Z (72%) have been relegated in that order.
