Our Q2 2021 Consumer Trends Report dives into how consumer interests and values have shifted for the second quarter of the fiscal year. This time, we analyzed our Consumer Personas to pinpoint how they have changed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We used our consumer personas data which uniquely captures the affinities, interests, and habits of U.S. consumers. We compared the personas of consumers observed in Q2 2019 with those in Q2 2021.

For each selected persona, we ranked the 50 states and Washington, D.C. in order of persona prevalence.

Consumers fitting the Home Buyers persona jumped to 21.2% in 2021 and Home Improvers to 33.1%, up from 9.2% and 15.5%, respectively, in 2019.
